Popular Ghanaian Screen-Goddess, Selly Galley has thrown her weight behind the aspiring Parliamentary Candidate for the Ayawaso West Wuguon, John Dumelo, charges him to win the upcoming General Elections.

According to Selly, her prayer is that John Dumelo wins the seat as the Parliamentary Member representing Ayawaso West in order to prove the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Madam Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey wrong.
Her comments come after Madam Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey stated that Parliament is for only business and not for people who have acted and become famous.
Selly Galley believes that John Dumelo’s victory in the upcoming election will prove Ayorkor Botchwey and others who doubt the competency of people within the Creative Arts Industry.
She revealed this in a post on Instagram and wrote;
“I am completely non partisan but John! I pray you win this seat and prove to the Minister of foreign affairs, Madam Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey and alike thinkers that indeed, creative arts is an industry pregnant with ‘serious’ minds of great thoughts and doers of great deeds…
