The flagbearer for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama has explained why he hasn’t involved any entertainment celebrity in his campaign ahead of the December elections.
In 2016, Mahama was endorsed by celebrities including popular Nigerian actor, Nkem Owoh aka Osuofia, but he lost the elections.

In an interview with Starr FM, Tuesday, Mahama explained that he has decided not to include celebrities because their careers get distracted.
Ahead of this year’s elections, so far, two celebrities – Sarkodie and Samini – have endorsed President Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
