Jordan Ayew has finally reacted to his huge achievement of becoming Ghana’s all-time top scorer in the history of the Premier League.

The striker achieved the feat last month when he scored for Crystal Palace against Bournemouth. The goal was his 25th in the competition which handed him the record.

The record had been held by legendary striker Tony Yeboah, who scored 24 goals for Leeds United.

Talking about it for the first time, Jordan Ayew said it was a great achievement for him and his family.

“Tony Yeboah is massive, maybe the best striker of all-time in Ghana,” he told Sky Sports, puffing out his cheeks, “so to beat his total and get to 25 goals in the Premier League is a great achievement for me and my family.”
