Josip Juranovic is a professional footballer from Croatia who plays his club football at the Scottish Premiership club Celtic and the Croatia national team.
Josip Juranovic started his youth career in 2014 with the third-tier club Dubrava based in Zagreb, Croatia. He caught the public eyes after wining the Croatian leg of the Nike Chance competition for amateur players in 2014.
HNK Hajduk Split got interest in him. They signed him for a three half and a half years in early 2015. He was moved to the first team in April, 2015. In June 2018, Juranović was selected in the Prva HNL team of the season for his performances during the 2017–18 season.
In 2020, he signed for the Polish club, Legia Warsaw. After playing a season, making 28 appearances and scoring one goal, he moved to the Scottish Premiership.
In August, 2021, Juranovic signed for Scottish Premiership giant club, Celtic in August 2021 from Legia Warsaw on a five-year deal. The transfer fee was a reported £2.5 million.
