Popular award-winning dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah who is widely known as Shatta Wale has advised his fans not to argue with any police personnel whenever they are caught smoking weed.
He disclosed that any attempt to fight with the police in such a situation will rather call for some serious unfair treatment.
He gave this advice at the Loud in Bukom concert held at the Bukom Square on Saturday, where he (Shatta Wale) admonished his teeming fans to emulate his humble lifestyle.
Shatta Wale spoke in his local dialect, which is Ga and he advised that if they are smoking weed and the police arrests any of them, he or she should beg and ask for forgiveness promising that they will not smoke there again.
Shatta Wale further assured that they will be released by the police if they beg but they will be slapped if they try to wrangle with the police.
Shatta Wale also indicated that whenever he is smoking weed and the police show up, he admits to them that he is ‘fine’ [high].
The police, he claims, encourage him to continue smoking the weed without arresting him.
