Finally the members of Parliament have just been sworn-in by the New Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumani Bagbin to commence their work.

This happened right after the new Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin was sworn-in by the Chief Justice, Kwasi Anin-Yeboah this morning.
However, before that, there were a few controversies at the parliament house over the election of the Speaker of Parliament.
As a reminder, these newly sworn-in members of Parliament are those who won the elections in their various constituencies during the 2020 General Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
