The Asafo Market in the Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi has once again been engulfed by fire.
This is the second time in less than 24 hours after a fire outbreak destroyed some shops and two offices at the market on Saturday night.
The fire is reported to be at the exact location Saturday’s inferno was spotted.
The situation is fueling rumours of arson.
On Friday night, a similar incident at a part of the Kumasi Central Market left many traders distraught as their goods worth several hundreds of thousands of Ghana were destroyed by fire.
Officers from the Metropolitan Fire Office are currently at the scene trying to put out the fire.
