The embattled CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah has been arrested at the Kotoka International Airport moments after touching down in the country from Dubai.

Earlier today, we reported that A-Plus has announced on his social media platform that NAM1 was on his way to Ghana after he left Dubai on Wednesday night and was expected to touch down in Ghana by 11:35am barring any last minute changes to flight schedules coupled with transits.

His joy of coming to Ghana after spending months in prison in Dubai was short-lived as operatives of the National Security busted him and whisked him for interrogations.

Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as NAM1 spent the last six months in police custody in Dubai due to a criminal case brought against him by a private company in that country.

An INTERPOL red alert notice placed on him by the government of Ghana also made it impossible for the Dubai authorities to release him from their custody after he won the case in court.

He has been declared wanted in Ghana over allegations of fraud brought against him by some persons who invested in his gold dealership company, Menzgold but have not been paid their dividends or principals for several months.

Although he was said to have won his case in Dubai which kept him behind bars last week, there have not been no extensive coverage of this latest news in foreign media, prompting a section of Ghanaians to dismiss it as a hoax and to keep NAM1 lurking in the shadows of deceit so he wouldn’t pay a dime of what he owes Menzgold customers.

The CID will definitely extract a lot of information from him and we shall keep you updated on any further development.
