In other news, Brother Sammy, one of the most entertaining gospel acts in Ghana has revealed that Ernest Opoku, a well-known gospel singer used to be his “small boy” back in the days, and most of the things he knows about the gospel were derived from him.

Speaking in an interview on the United Showbiz aired on United Television hosted by the ace broadcaster, Gilbert Abeiku Santana, Brother Sammy revealed that Ernest Opoku imitated him while he was serving him back in the days, thus the similarity in their voices.

He claims that many would presume that he rather copied Ernest Opoku’s voice since Ernest came to the spotlight before he did. He further stated that Ernest Opoku served him for so many years before he came out as an independent gospel artist.
