Ronald Kwaku Dei Appiah, known professionally as Bisa KDei has told a Canadian reporter in an exclusive over the weekend that his contribution to the High-life genre cannot be surpassed by any artiste despite the emergence of the New School block led by KiDi, Kuame Eugene and King Promise.

Known for his smash jams like, ‘Mansa’, ‘Brother Brother’, ‘Baba’, ‘Odo Carpenter’, ‘Apai’ amongst others, the young artist has managed to establish a strong brand for himself since he emerged from the shadows of composing soundtracks for Kumasi-churned movies.

Even though Kdei has acknowledged the presence of some young High-life artiste in Ghana currently, he also made it clear that it was impossible for any of them in his generation to do what he has done for the genre.

Bisa KDei is highly appreciated in the francophone countries, notably Gabon, Togo and Ivory Coast.
