The Adiepena hitmaker, Kidi has stated in an interview with SVTV that he cannot see himself singing any of his songs in any church because what is deserving of man should not be given to God.
The follows the viral news of KK Fosu seen performing in Angel Obinim’s church. Kidi says he would perform if and only if it has to do with a naming ceremony or any other thing has nothing to do with praising the creator.
“I will not perform because what is God is God’s and what is for man is man’s.”
“If it is a special function like birthday, and he invites me, l will perform. Imagine me singing “thunder fire” in church”.
When asked if it is wrong to sing about love in the church, he said;
“It is not bad but it depends on the circumstance.”
“If someone is getting married and l go to sing about love it makes sense since marriage is a love affair, not when people are about to preach and receive the holy spirit. It is a huge contrast”.
