Ghanaian artist, Kofi Mole has revealed in a fresh interview with MzGee on the Gist programme that he only walked into a studio to record his hit song, ‘Don’t be late’ moments after he experienced a broken heart.

Kofi Mole said it’s the experience he and from the unexpected heartbreak that made him produce that song which has become a street anthem across the length ad breadth of the country.

‘I’ve always been thanking her for it, she made me someone I’ve always dreamt to be,” he told MzGee.

Kofi Mole also has four other love-themed songs on his debut EP, ‘Aposor Love’ woven around the same inspiration.

He had previously told Mercury Quaye on Daybreak Hitz on Friday, that ‘Aposor Love’ captures the feelings and thoughts of a man stuck in a relationship, he cannot leave the relationship he has worked hard to build.

“You want an out but something is holding you in it,” he said.
