Kelvin-Prince Boateng has managed to win over new fans for Spanish giant Barcelona since his shock move to the club in a loan deal from Serie A outfit, Sassuolo.
The forward was given a rare start in the Copa Del Rey match against Sevilla on Wednesday night but was substituted in the 63rd match.
Barca lost that particular match by 2-0 and awaiting the magic of Lionel Messi to overturn the deficit in the return leg to be played in Camp Nou.
KP Boateng could possibly start his first ever league game today after being named on the team list alongside Messi.
The Spanish champions have been victorious in their last seven in the league to open up a five-point advantage over second-placed Atletico Madrid, while Girona currently occupies 12th position in the table.
