Ghana has lost another high-profile personality. The sudden demise of the Former President of the Republic of Ghana. Jerry John Rawlings shocked Ghanaians as reports came that he has kicked the bucket this afternoon.

Reacting to the news, his former opponent, Ex-President John Agyekum Kuffour has taken to his Twitter to express his condolences to the bereaved family.
In a post, he wrote; REST IN PEACE JERRY JOHN RAWLINGS.
However, the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has declared a national mourning for the late Former President and also suspended his campaigns.
Not only him, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has also announced the suspension of his Ashanti Region campaign tour following the death of Jerry John Rawlings.
