The Black Stars of Ghana have a crucial AFCON qualifier against Ethiopia over the weekend. As mandatory, the head coach named his group of players he wants to work with. This saw the return of the Ayew brothers. Immediately after the release of the squad, Kwadwo Asamoah had an injury.
There has been a supposed ‘bad blood’ between Kwadwo Asamoah and the Ayews. This has been going on for a while, but as to why there is such a thing, we have no idea.
Kwadwo Asamoah’s injury means he will miss Ghana’s trip to Ethiopia. This is also a match that the Black Stars need all maximum point in order to secure a place in next year’s African Cup of Nations competition.
It is alleged that Kwadwo Asamoah has actually ‘faked’ his injury in order to avoid himself playing with the Ayews. There has been such form of politics existing in the Black Stars over the years.
We wouldn’t be surprise to see him play for his club side immediately after the international break.
