Meanwhile, Ghanaian songstress, Jackeline Acheampong, well known as Gyakie has been spotted hitting the studio with Nigeria’s Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, known professionally as Ayra Starr to record a potential hit song.

Irrespective of the current beef between the Nigerian music industry and that of Ghana over the lack of support and love, Gyakie and Ayra Starr have managed to snub the tantrums both industries are throwing at each other to record a song, perhaps to bridge the gap between the two industries.

Gyakie gained popularity in Nigeria after releasing the remix version of her “Forever” song featuring Nigeria’s Omah Lay. She has managed to establish a strong fanbase in the country and is also one of the few Ghanaian musicians thriving on the Nigerian market.
