Black Stars head coach, Kwesi Appiah has presented his 30-man AFCON provisional squad to the Normilisation Committee and Sulley Muntari has been omitted whiles captain Asamoah Gyan made cut.

The list includes several youngsters and boosted by experienced Black Stars players. Youngsters who played vital roles in the U23 side such as Osman Bukari, Majeed Ashimeru, Joseph Paintsil and strikers Kwabena Owusu, Bernard Tekpertey and Dauda Mohammed were all named.

Egyptian-based Ghanaian striker, John Antwi was also called to be considered for the tournament in familiar territory as he is among the leading scorers in the top flight with Misr El Makasa.
