A South African lady has taken to social media to praise two shop attendants who really helped her and showed her love.

According to the lady, she had the unsettling task of returning palliative care items that she unwittingly minutes before her Mom died.

She added that she was so upset and cried so much that she was unable to explain the reason for the return to the cashier.

Then these ladies helped her out as they sorted everything out. Her post reads;

“This is my first post as a stayer. Last week I had the unsettling task of returning palliative care items that I purchased on 11 January 2021, unwittingly, minutes before my Mom died. I was so upset and cried so much that I was unable to explain the reason for the return to the cashier. Vuyo didn’t expect this and called another lady over.

The lady summed up the situation and steered me over to the cashier’s chair. She asked Vuyo to bring me a bottle of water and that she will pay for it. The lady rubbed my back and talked to me to find out the source of my heartache. She continued rubbing my back and said, “it’s never easy when you lose a loved one”.

The lady left my side to give me a private moment to collect myself. By now Vuyo was asking her about the refund and she told her, “just create the refund you don’t need her information”. The lady handed me the bottle of water and refused to accept my money. Before my exit, I found out that the lady’s name is Jana de Jager. I would love to thank these beautiful angels who lived up to their employers policy, by “showing how they cared” about my situation. This is the reason that #ImStaying.”
