HipHop act Cardi B, just as we said in a previous article is really exploring Nigeria to the fullest ahead of her concert tonight in Lagos before she departs to Accra Ghana.
She granted an interview to a local radio station where she talked about the city of Lagos likening to New York, her favourite jam (which is Burna Boy’s ‘Ye’) and remix of Davido’s Fall.
In her words:
“I was telling the heads of Atlantic that that s ong (Ye) is huge, it’s amazing.”
She revealed:
“We did it (Fall) like a while ago and my label was like giving me a hard time, we had a very big argument cos we really wanted that to come out but…”
Speaking on what she likes about Nigeria, the mother of one said she sees similarities between Lagos and New York saying:
“There are so many people and it’s like New York!”
