N10 million has been given to two victims of police brutality by the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Restitution and Inquiry.
The panel presented to the family of Mrs. Kudirat Adebayo Abayomi a sum of N10 million as compensation. Recall that Mrs. Abayomi died after being hit by a police stray bullet in April 2017.

Again, the panel which was set up to investigate cases of police brutality also awarded scholarship to the children of the deceased and rendered an apology to the family.
Meanwhile, a 35 year old hair dresser, Hannah Olugbode also received N10 million for the trouble and pain caused by SARS officers who shot her left leg with a stray bullet around the Ijeshatedo area of Lagos.
