In what was supposed to be an ” Amotekun Solidarity Walk ” proptesters where left shocked to see Lagos police already occupying the space where activities were planned to be held.
The Gani Fawehinmi Park, was occupied by dozen policemen and women in view of preventing the Yoruba World Congress to carry out their protest.
The police, on Tuesday acted on a call from higher authority, the Minister of Justice and attorney general, Mr Abubakar Malami sanctioned this course.
In an earlier report, the minister described the activities of Amotekun as illegal and must be brought down.
