Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie has emphasized that language is not a barrier in music and has therefore urged all artists who sing or rap in their native language to reinforce it.

Sarkodie said this in a new interview with Hemah K, the BET Red Carpet Host whiles flaunting his BET award which he dedicated to all artists propagating their local language.

Sarkodie’s legendary status as the best rapper in Africa was fluidly consolidated last last week at the annual BET Hip-Hop Awards when he became the proud recipient of the Best International Flow Award.

The multiple award winning rapper said he has not been limited at all by the Twi language he uses in his songs and that the evidence is the award he grabbed recently.
