Peter Boamah Otukonor, Deputy General Secretary for the National Democratic Congress NDC seems to be dissatisfied with the organization of the ongoing funeral of late former President Jerry John Rawlings.

He has stated that it was poorly organized indicating that the NDC could have done better had the government involved them in the planning and the organization of the funeral.
Speaking in an interview with TV3 journalist, Komla Adom at the International Confidence Center today, he emphasized that the government deliberately blindfolded the NDC party with regards to the preparation and planning of the funeral hence the outcome result is what we’re having now.

According to him, the NDC would have wished they honor their founder, Former President Jerry John Rawlings in a better and more friendly way than what the government has done.
