Josephine Baiden Agyarko, widow of former Member of Parliament for the Ayawaso West constituency Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko, died of COVID-19.
She was receiving treatment and seemed fine until she had a relapse that led to her death hours ago.

Family members who spoke to MyNewsGh.com to confirm her death requested privacy to cry.
Ms. Josephine Baiden Agyarko is survived by her two children with her late husband, who died in November 2018.
She joins the list of prominent people who succumbed to the COVID-19 pandemic in Ghana.
