Goran Barjaktarević has become the first managerial casualty of the season following the termination of his contract by Legon Cities.
This comes 24 hours after Legon suffered humiliating 3-0 defeat t the hands of Great Olympics. The defeat came on the back of their disappointing 1-1 draw against Berekum Chelsea in opening match.
In both games, they were poor with many blaming the manager for failing to get the best out of talented players at his disposal.
The rich club signed over 10 players, including Black Stars legend Asamoah Gyan, hoping for massive improvement following poor showing last season – winning just three of 14 games.
But there has been no improvement, evident in the game against Great Olympics which they were completely outclassed.,
