Nigerian Mixed Martial Art Champion, Kamaru Usman, has called out the president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari over the attack on peaceful #EndSARS protesters in the country with the most gruesome which happened at Lekki toll gate when some military men opened fire on demonstrators calling for police reforms.
Taking to his Instagram page, Kamaru Usman expressed displeasure in what is going on in Nigeria and charged Buhari to speak to Nigeri ans over the uprising.
Kamaru Usman said,
“It is tough right now for me to understand what is going on in my own country and just how things have gotten to the point. This is something that has been a long time in the works, it has been a long time coming dating back to my father’s generation. This is something that has been a long time coming but as things start to unfold, it is so heartbreaking to watch, all the destruction and chaos that is going on right now.
“Where is our president? Where is Mr President? Where are you Mr President? Buhari, how is it that these last days are lasting for more than two-three days before you take notice? How is this going on for so long to the point that you cannot just come out, open your arms and talk to your children, talk to your country? Talk to us. We are all your children, Mr Buhari. How is it that you cannot just come out; lay it out for us?”
