The award-winning radio personality Lerato Kganyago has taken to her social media reveals that she will be sharing sanitary pads with school girls to help stop period poverty. In a post she shared on her Twitter account, Lerato Kganyago revealed that all she stands for is ending period poverty one day at a time.

She further revealed in another post that over 300 million women and girls worldwide menstruate every day, and millions can’t afford to ma intain menstrual health. They are fortunate to play a role in the curb of period poverty in South Africa, one home at a time.
