Gilbert Jeremy Gottfried, was an American actor and stand-up comedian.
Gilbert Jeremy Gottfried died on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, aged 67. The family of Gilbert Gottfried confirmed his demise in a tweet on Tuesday.
However, his family did not disclosed what killed him.
The Twitter statement said: “We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved Gilbert Gottfried after a long illness.”
The family described him as “the most iconic voice in comedy” as well as a “wonderful husband, brother, friend and father to his two young children.”
“Although today is a sad day for us all, please keep laughing as possible in Gilbert’s honor,” his family added in the statement.
