In a sad report, a young guy who was reportedly a fuel pump attendant has been shot dead by a policeman enforcing the lockdown order in Abia State, Nigeria.
The victim who was only identified as Chibuisi worked at the Green Mark Energy filling station and he was killed while on duty.
Per what we gathered, the deceased was shot while he was trying to intercede for a customer who was accosted by a police enforcement team defying the lockdown order.
Per the reports, he was allegedly shot in the waist with the bullet piercing his pelvic bone horizontally and died upon getting to the hospital.
The state command’s Police Public Relations Officer, Geoffrey Ogbonna, confirmed that the police has launched investigation to unravel the circumstances that led to the fatal shooting.
