Popular Ghanaian actress and activist, Lydia Forson, has taken to soccial media to plead with Ghanaian musicians to support the Ghana movie industry.

From her tweet one could easily tell that the movie industry is dropping off the charts in African movie production. There is low patronage even in Ghana due lack of support.

As to who to blamed for low patronage, promotion and proper advertisement, we do not know but she believes that if musicians would support the movie industry just as they ( actress & actors ) support their music, it’ll go a long way to help them succeed.

In her tweet, she she said:

” I’d like to see a lot more musicians support our movies the way we do their music. I understand ours can be a little more complicated and sometimes harder to access.

But a post, retweet, encouraging your fans to watch when they’re in cinemas goes a long way “

Some twitter users agreed to the motion that musicians must support Ghana movies.
