‘M.Anifest Is Too Deep, He Is Just Like Me’-Obrafuor

Legendary Hiplife musician, Obrafuor has spoken highly of M.anifest and says the God MC rapper mirrors his persona. Obrafuor, born Michael Elliot Kwabena Okyere Darko, is revered within the Hiplife fraternity and Ghana music as whole for his thought-provoking and incisive lyrics.

Obrafour, believes M.anifest is the English version of him. Over the years the Pae Mu Ka

hitmaker has favoured Sarkodie over all Ghanaian rappers. However he disclosed that M.anifest’s prowess as a rapper hasn’t really been acknowledged by Ghanaians.

“There is another rapper that to be honest with you I think he’s been underrated for so long but God being so good and the truth will always stand, he is getting the recognition now,”

Obrafour told MzGee in an exclusive interview.

“M.anifest is too deep. I listen to myself sometimes – I hardly do though – but I think we bore semblance. He is deep with the queen’s language, and that is what makes him unique,” the ‘Pae Mu Ka’ rapper added.

When MzGee asked if he saw M.anifest as the English version of him, the veteran rapper retorted, “yes, exactly.”
