Rastafarians in Malawi have great joy in their heart unlike before, when they were limited in their right to enjoy education because of their hairstyle.
Over the years, the Rastafarian community in Malawi has battled the government to scrap the law which forbids rastafarian kids from attending school unless they cut down their hair. Every child has the right to education but in Malawi, it’s only when you do not have dreadlocks.

Reports coming in from Malawi states that, the law has been scrapped off the books by a Malawian High Court on 14th January 2020. Rastafarian kids can now enjoy education without fear or intimidation.
