Information reaching us from South Africa is that, a man believed to be in his 20’s has been arrested by the police and will be arraigned before court on Monday. He will be charged with misleading the public and also luring and raping young boys.
The fake football coach was nabbed by the South African Police Service at his home where incriminating evidences were found together with boys who were also there under a false pretext by the fake coach.
Claiming to be a coach, the unidentified man took advantage of the parents of the boys and made them sign fake papers, posing to be documents to get their sons into the South African Premier Soccer League.
Police spokesperson Colonel Thembeka Mbele said:
“The soccer coach went to the young boy’s home where he produced forms to the family to fill in, which basically stated that their son was going to join a soccer academy. The dream was quickly shattered when the young soccer enthusiast was allegedly raped by the same man who had recruited him.
The young boy alleged that while at Kloof, the coach gave him a concoction to drink, which left him drugged. It was during this time that the coach took advantage of him.”
The unidentified fake coach has been on police wanted list for such illicit adventures in different cities in South Africa for a long time.
