Some men say make-up is the biggest fraud relative to a woman’s anatomy because it hides so much flaws on their faces.

Admittedly, make-up alters a woman’s face so much that they look completely different and brings them back to ‘default settings’ when they are without it.

Such is the case of this lady, Sophia Ridlington from United Kingdom whose boyfriend felt ‘offended’ when he saw the ‘real’ face of his woman and decided to dump her.

Sophia narrating her sad said she was diagnosed with psoriasis, a skin disease which skin cells build up and form scales and itchy, dry patches.

Sophia unfortunately has her skin covered with red, scaly bumps all over her body , including her face.

She said:

“My skin often cracks and bleeds, which causes me so much pain,” Sophia told Caters News . “Now, I’ve learned how to cover my face properly. I love doing my makeup, and it gives me something to focus on.”

Narrating the story of how her boyfriend left her, this is what she had to say:

“My ex-boyfriend didn’t stick by me, and it broke my heart at the time; he didn’t appreciate me for who I was,” she said. “I used to wear long sleeves or long trousers every single time I left the house. It’s very difficult to have people staring at you as if you’re different to them.”

Since that sad incident, Sophia decided to study cosmetology and has now become a professional makeup artist.
