Manchester United legend, Patrice Evra is set to visit Ghana in a few days.

The French international made this known in a recent post that he made on the popular social media platform, Twitter.

The post that he made reads;

“They didn’t believe in Africa God did #Ghana I’m coming 🔥 🔥”

Patrice Latyr Evra was born on May 15, 1981, and was originally a forward before switching to left-back. Evra captained both Manchester United and France’s national team. Sir Alex Ferguson praised Evra’s leadership while also describing him as one of Europe’s best left-backs.

Evra was born in Senegal, the son of a diplomat, and moved to Europe when he was a year old. Evra began his career with the Italian club Marsala. He joined Monza the following season but returned to France a year later to play for Nice, where he was converted into a full-back.

His performances for Monaco led to a January 2006 transfer to English club Manchester United, where he went on to win a slew of trophies, including five Premier League titles and a UEFA Champions League.

He joined Italian club Juventus in 2014 before moving to Marseille in January 2017; however, he was released in November 2017 after receiving a seven-month ban from UEFA competition for kicking a fan prior to a UEFA Europa League match.
