Four University graduates in Kayole, Kenya are making millions from selling pancakes (chapatis) on a shack – With the sales, they have bought land, two 50-seater matatus and built apartments all over Nairobi

Four young guys make Pancake’s (Chapati) in Kayole, Kenya pocketing more than KSh 10,000 every day in profit. They are all graduates from Universities across Kenya and have become entrepreneurs when they failed to get jobs after school.

Their story was first shared on social media by one of their customers, Omeno Thomas. Jayath Achiel 24, holds (BA Education) degree from Egerton, Kiplimo Rugut, 21 holds (CPA-K) from Zetech College, David Makau, 22 holds (BBIT

) degree from Multimedia University, Josphat Kamau, 23 holds (BSc. Zoology) degree from the University of Nairobi.

They have been cooking chapatis for 6 years and have grown from a part-time gig to a full-time job. They own four Jikos and make around 250 chapatis on a daily which they sell for KSh 10.

From the money they have made so far, they have bought a 2-acre land in Lang’ata, two 50- seater matatus with forwarding travelers, 3 apartments in Githurai in the outskirts of Mwihoko and 1 in Kayole.

They have also received help from Equity bank in loans to grow their empire. All the apartments have tenants.
