We were marvelled to read about Elizabeth Owusua, a Ghanaian lady who is a nurse as well as a lawyer.

While growing up, she publicly disclosed her desire to be a nurse, lawyer, and a fashion designer.

In a recent submission, she said;

“As a child, I always wanted to be a nurse, lawyer, and a fashion designer all at the same time with no idea how they were going to happen because of my background.”

Owusua attended Mfatsiman Girls Senior High School and from there she went to a nursing school and graduated with a Diploma in Nursing in 2008 and started working as a nurse in 2010 after national service.

She continued to a private university in Accra where she advanced studies in Nursing and graduated in 2013.”

And to accomplish her dream of becoming her lawyer, she applied to the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) in 2014 to study law.

In 2017, she gained admission to the Ghana School of Law after graduating from GIMPA and was finally called to the Ghana Bar in October 2019.

Taking to her social media handles, she shared her inspiring story saying that she is a lawyer during the day and a nurse at night and social media users are celebrating her for her determination and hard work.
