Argentine football legend and Barcelona skipper, Lionel Messi, has beaten his rival, Cristiano Ronaldo to emerge the player with the highest goals scored from club free kick.
Up until now, Ronaldo has held the top spot with 47 free kick goals but according to a report by Creebhills, Messi has now scored 48 free kick goals.
This comes after Barcelona crashed Granada at Nuevo Estadio de Los Carmenes on Saturday, January 9, where he also ended up on the score sheet to overtake the Portuguese international.
