Honorable Okudzeto Ablakwa, Member of Parliament for North Tongu Constituency, has added his voice to the gruesome murder of Honorable Ekow Quansah Hayford which occurred on Friday 9 October, 2020.
According to Hon. Ablakwa, the late MP’s death is “A most shocking and agonizing loss of our colleague for which we are unable to come to terms. No human being deserves this unspeakable cruelty.
Sending his condolence to the people of Mfantseman and the family of Mr. Quansay, the former Deputy Education and Information Minister said “Deepest condolences to the family and people of Mfantseman on the gruesome murder of their Honourable Representative, Ekow Quansah Hayford.”Our hearts also go out to the NPP.”
Again, Mr. Okudzeto Ablakwa the government should pursue the perpetrators, arrest them and put them before court to face judgement.
He added ” It is imperative that the perpetrators are vigorously pursued, apprehended and brought to justice.”
Moreover, he called on the government do more in fighting insecurity to protect Ghanaians the best possible means.
He stated “We must do more to combat insecurity and to ensure that all Ghanaians are guaranteed adequate protection no matter the time of day and no matter which part of the country.”
