Former Blackstars player, Michael Essien has found himself in a hot soup after he openly declared his support to the LGBTQ community in Ghana.
Recall Ghgossip.com earlier reported news about Michael Essien calling for the legalization of the LGBTQ community and given equal treatment in the country. The post he made sparked rage in Ghanaians and social media users who stormed the comment section to drag him to filth.

The severity of the backlash forced him to delete the post from his media pages. As if that is not enough, Over 500 thousand followers have unfollowed him on Instagram, leaving him 1.4 million out of the 1.9 million followers he had initially.
