Retired Ghanaian footballer, Michael Essien has taken to his Instagram to share an adorable photo of his family as he celebrates International Women’s Day.

Recall, Michael Essien was dragged in the mud by social media users after he declared his support for the Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Transgenders, Queers, and Inter-sexed communities.
Most of his fans were disappointed in him as they descend on him on his post. He even lost about 500k followers for advocating for homosexuality.
Today, 8th March 2021 marking International Women’s Day, Essien shared a photo of his family while wishing mothers on this day.
