Ghanaian football legend Michael Essien has warned fans not fall for fake social media accounts operating in his name.
Essien explained that he has only four social media accounts on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram which are all verified, thus his fans should not entertain any unverified account.

“Please note I personally have 4 Social Media accounts verified as seen here and @bison5 on Twitter for my Foundation Team. All other accounts are fake and not mine.”,
Essien’s incredible career ended last year, after winning many trophies including the Champions League in 2012 with Chelsea.
He is currently into management, working as assistant coach of Nordsjaelland in Denmark.
