Popular Ghanaian Reggae/dancehall musician, Kojo Kurankye who is widely known as Ras Kuuku, has claimed that most Ghanaian songs are trash.
In his view, these songs do not have any positive message for the masses who listen to it because they don’t make any sense.
Speaking in a recent radio interview, he said most people like his songs because when they are compared with other songs, his is better than those songs hence they go in for his.
“People patronize my song because when they compare my music to the ‘borla’, they prefer mine. A lot of songs are ‘borla’ songs because they do not have any impact on our thoughts unlike my songs.
I believe Iwan and Obibini are very good artistes who need support from the industry,” he said.
