Mr Drew, a talented and versatile Ghanaian recording artiste and dancer comes through with a brand new single titled; “Filomina”.
The song was lifted off his just released collective, “Alpha”. The afropop influenced album is 12-tracks long project with vocal assistance from KiDi, Victor AD, Kwabena Kwabena, Kelvyn Boy, Seyi Shay and more.
‘Alpha’ album happens to be Mr Drew’s debut studio album. Mr Drew, officially called Andrews Commey Otoo started his career as a dancer and then later pursued music at the tertiary level.
In 2017, he participated in the MTN hit-maker season six reality show. He took the second position at the end of the competition. He was also nominated in the unsung of the year category at the Ghana Music Awards in 2019.
Mr Drew is well known for his song “Dw3” with label mate Krymi featuring SarkCess Music boss, Sarkodie. He won the best new artiste at the 2021 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. According to him, he draws inspiration from; legendary Ghanaian musician, Kojo Antwi, Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, Slim Buster and Terry BonChaka.
