A-Reece, real name Lehlogonolo Ronald Mataboge was born and raised in Pretoria. He was signed to Ambitiouz Entertainment and later left the label after disputes with the management.
He’s well known for his hit song; “Couldn’t” featuring award winning rapper, Emtee which was released in 2015.
