Celebrated Beninese-American singer, songwriter, actress and Grammy award winner, Angelique Kidjo comes through with a new outstanding album tagged; “Mother Nature”.

The star studded body of works came in a package of thirteen (13) solid and mind blowing tracks with guest appearance from top notch acts across the globe.

Angelique Kidjo is noted for her diverse musical influences and creative music videos. Her music is influence by Beninese traditional music. She performs in languages namely; Fon, French, Yoruba, Gen (Mina), and English.

According to her, she grew up listening to Miriam Makeba, Hugh Masekela, James Brown, Manu Dibango, Otis Redding, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Wonder, Osibisa, and Santana.

Angelique Kidjo in 2015 performed her hit song, “Afirika” at the opening of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
