Ghanaian songstress has emphasized that she’s able to be consistent in the industry with good music because it’s in her DNA.
She expressed that she was born into a family of great musicians which made her develop an interest in taking a journey with it at a young age.

In an interview on Kantanka TV, the singer listed tall names in her family who were musicians including Nana Ampadu as her grandfather.
Wendy Shay added that Nana Ampadu is her grandfather from her father’s side and he was into music.

She made known that her mother is a musician, the auntie is also a musician who even taught her how to harmonize voice.
