Outstanding Nigerian female vocalist and songwriter, Lady Donli has finally shared her much talked about extended play christened; “W I L D”.
The new body of works is a six track project with features from Shae Universe, Sugarbana and Ragz Originale. Lady Donli released her debut album ‘Enjoy Your Life’ in 2019. The album found her delivering retro-inspired African songs with an overly joyful arch.
Her new extended play, ‘W I L D’ is its moodier, bolder and multi-genre. Off this project, Lady Donli engages Ragz Originale to serve fans and the music community with an amazing track tagged; “Set Tha Fire”.
Lady Donli, real name Zainab Elizabeth Donli has worked top tier acts like Adekunle Gold, Nonso Amadi, Tomi Thomas, M.I Abaga, Boogey, Mr Eazi, SDC, Davido, Ayuu, Odunsi the Engine, Tay Iwar, amongst others.
According to her, she draws inspiration from Brenda Fassie, Angelique Kidjo, Asa and Erykah Badu, as well as Nigeria’s pop pioneers. Lady Donli graduated with a degree in law from the University of Surrey, United Kingdom.
