Real name Raphael Earl Marquaye Lutterodt, Mantse A.Y’s career started in 2017. His official music video for “Nyame Watse” was nominated for the best music video of the year at the Ghana Music Awards South Africa in 2018.
Mantse A.Y was nominated for the Unsung Category of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards in 2019.
