Promising Nigerian singer and songwriter, Pepenazi is here with another beautiful tune titled; “Owu Pupo” off his studio album; “Zerubbabel“. The album embeds 12-tracks with features from Superwozzy, Trod, QDOT, Magnito, Eclipse, Lano Roy, Andre Maos and Praiz.
Officially known as Opeyemi Gbenga Kayode, Pepenazi released “Arose” in 2012. He took a break from music to complete his undergraduate education. He returned to music in 2014 with two single; “Born You” and “Low”.
Pepenazi gained more attention from Nigerians after dropping “Illegal” featuring YBNL Nation boss, Olamide. He was nominated for rookie of the year at the 2015 Headies’ Flip the Script Awards.
In 2015, he performed at the Star Trek grand finale in Lagos, Olamide Live in Concert II and also at the One Lagos Fiesta the same year.
